I would like to take this
opportunity to recommend my good friend Charles Massegee. I don’t know
of any better-equipped evangelist we have today working in crusades
and church revivals. I have known Charles for more than 40 years. On
many occasions, I’ve had him in churches where I have pastored. I have
never met a man who could preach the gospel and have such unbelievable
results when the invitations are given.
This man is a friend to all pastors and he will always leave your
church better than when he came. He is not only a gifted preacher, but
also an outstanding teacher and can hold bible conferences to
strengthen and encourage churches of all sizes.
Of course, if you have
never met his wife Beverly, then you have missed one of the most
talented people in our convention. She has a marvelous solo voice, is
an outstanding ventriloquist and is a great communicator with kids.
These two together, make one of the greatest teams. I love them and
you will also, when you have an opportunity to have them.
It is a privilege to be Charles and Beverly’s pastor. He practices
what he preaches, because when he is not on the road he is in the pew
of our church supporting his pastor by being faithful in all areas of
