REVELATION BIBLE CONFERENCE
A Super Week-end: Saturday night
and Sunday!
SIX ONE HOUR SESSIONS
Or
Four days: Sunday morning through
Wednesday night!
EIGHT 55-MINUTE SESSIONS
THIS IS THE
BEST WAY TO GO
Revelation Illuminated
THE SUNDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY OPTION: We go through the whole book of
Revelation, verse-by-verse, Sunday night through Wednesday night.
Sunday morning Beverly usually gives her testimony and sings. I
share a brief word that gets the people excited and motivated not to
miss a session. Most of the time it works. There are two 55-minute
sessions each night, with a fifteen-minute break between the two
sessions. We drive in on Saturday and park our motor home on the
church parking grounds, prepared for a big day Sunday.
Or
THE WEEK-END
OPTION: Instead of eight (8) 55-minute sessions over four days, we
have six (6) one hour sessions in two days. Two sessions Saturday
night with a fifteen minute break between the two sessions. One
session replacing the Sunday School hour on Sunday morning, and one
session replacing the morning worship hour. Then we close out with
two sessions Sunday night, with a fifteen minute break between the
two sessions.
We have found
that it works best to meet around tables in the fellowship center
with light refreshments during the break. However, the sanctuary is
fine if we don't have refreshments. No
congregational singing or promotion necessary. Beverly sings a song
or two each session. We focus on exciting, inspirational bible
teaching geared for the 21st century with
computer-generated graphics projected on a large screen. We also
provide free copies of our Seven Secrets to Understanding the Book
of Revelation and our Table of the Symbols and Definitions of over
100 key words in the book. We provide the large screen, computer,
and projector when needed.
If a picture is
worth a thousand words, a vision is worth a thousand pictures. The
Book of Revelation is made simple and exciting as the visions given
to the Apostle John are illuminated by computer generated graphics
projected on a large screen. Even young people and the “Now”
generation of today become captivated by it once they get an insight
into its modern day relevance. While our Revelation Bible
Conferences may not take the place of a revival, they can be made
just as evangelistic in a contemporary way.
We travel in a
40 foot, self contained, diesel pusher motor coach, and usually park
on the church grounds. We make no financial demands, stipulations,
or even requests concerning travel expense, room and board
allowance, or honorarium. However, we would welcome a love offering
for our ministry.
Being full-time
vocational evangelists it is our privilege, to live by faith, travel
by faith, and ministry by faith. All financial matters are left
entirely in the hands of the church. When possible we try to book
our meetings within 600 miles of other meetings. However, let’s not
let travel be an issue. We would not confirm a date unless we felt
like it would fit into our schedule and we could drive the distance.
We will be
responsible for all our meals in the motor coach. However, we would
be happy AFTER the services, to go out for a meal, or refreshments
and fellowship. We love to become personally acquainted with the
people.

Relative to our
Revelation Bible Conferences:
- We teach
the pre-millennial, pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and
while no one knows when it may occur, we believe it could be any
day. There is no date setting, and we are mindful to respect
other people’s opinion. It’s not who is right, but what is right
that matters. I am open to having a better understanding. I want
to learn.
-
This exciting study builds up the
ministry of the pastor, and addresses just about every challenge
facing the church today.
-
The Book of Revelation is a book
of hope, forgiveness, direction, and victory.
-
A proper perspective of the
return of Christ will give us a proper perspective of how to
live our life at its fullness.
-
The focus of the Book is the
Person of Jesus Christ, how He relates to and affects history,
beginning with the first coming of Christ, and ending with the
Second Coming of Christ.
-
It is a Book of glorious hope and
encouragement, showing God’s love and forgiveness even in the
midst of His wrath and judgment.
-
The Book conveys to the whole
world that Jesus is God, is all sovereign in every situation,
and His ultimate will shall be done in spite of the disobedience
of man.
-
You will see the Book of
Revelation more clearly than ever before. Professional
illustrator Pat Marvenko Smith has artistically represented the
fantastic visions as seen by the Apostle John and recorded in
this Book. These pictures are computer-generated on a large
screen to enhance this inspirational study. We carry with us a
large screen, projector, and computer. Of course, we would be
happy to use the churches if available. We also will have our
P.A. system if needed.
-
There is a real urgency today to
be aware of Islam, Allah, and the antichrist in prophecy, as
they are reveled so vividly in the Book of Revelation. WE BEST
NOT KEEP OUR CHRISTIAN FRIENDS UNINFORMED ON THE MESSAGE OF THE
BOOK OF REVELATION AS IT RELATES TO US TODAY.

Thank God for His Keeping Power
While many are able to share a beautiful testimony of a dramatic
conversion from a hard life of sin to a daily walk with Jesus,
Charles Massegee humbly thanks God for His keeping
power. A power that raised Charles in a loving family that has long
been devoted to Christ and the ministry. “Massegee” in Welsh means,
“messenger,” and the Massegees have been God’s messengers from the
pulpit around the world for generations. Charles’ grandfather and
father were evangelists and also were pastors of Southern Baptist
Churches for over 140 years combined, both preaching until they were
almost 90 years old.
Charles gave his life to Christ when he
was only nine years old in his father’s church. At the age of
eighteen, he answer God’s call to preach the gospel of Christ. That
same year he was licensed by the Second
Baptist Church
and ordained to the ministry at the New Hope
Baptist Church
in Ranger, Texas.
He helped organize the
Eastside
Baptist
Church
in Ranger at the age of nineteen and was their first pastor. Because
of football stardom and hundreds of invitations to preach revival
meetings, he entered full-time vocational evangelism. He completed his
education at Hardin Simmons
University in
Abilene,
Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Since then he has averaged over 30
revival crusades a year. Charles was elected President for an
unprecedented three terms of the National Conference of Southern
Baptist Evangelists. As an evangelist, he is endorsed by the Southern
Baptist Convention.
In recognition of his contribution to
worldwide evangelism, he has been awarded two Doctor Degrees. However,
Charles is quick to realize all his honors and accomplishments are but
rubbish (dung), if he does not gain Christ and come to know Him and
the power of His resurrection. Charles and his family are active
members of the Orchard Hills Baptist
Church in Garland, Texas
where Dickson Rial is pastor. While Charles is an independent Southern
Baptist Evangelist, he goes where he is invited, conducting crusades,
and Bible Conferences in churches of all faiths. His purpose is to
invade every church, every home, and every prison with the Gospel of
Christ and plant the banner of God’s endless love in every heart. His
objective is very simple—to help people in all walks of life and
beliefs, discover Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and
find a personal relationship with God through Him. Charles is more
determined than ever to make conquest and storm the enemies’ territory
with the message of God’s power and matchless love.
In the
midst of all the gloom and despair, that so dominates our society,
there is a sure source of hope. There is an answer! Charles speaks to
these issues with a candid, straightforward approach, offering
positive solutions for this troubled generation. Indeed, Jesus is the
Answer!
Charles has spent his life explaining the meaning of
life, death, and eternity. He believes that the Christian life is a
“joyful, thrilling adventure.” His messages are geared to speak
directly to the needs of today’s fast-moving world. He offers a
message to those who are hurting, depressed, discouraged, and lonely.
He has a message of love, forgiveness, and acceptance. It’s a message
that will free a person from the condemning feeling of guilt and
failure.
His message has made sense to countless thousands
around the world. Invite him to your church and find out why!

She's Traveling a Different Circuit Now!
Beverly Massegee is a miracle of God’s redeeming grace. Popular in the
field of entertainment, and combining a beautiful voice with a
glamorous appearance, she climbed to the top rung in show business. At
the summit, however, she found boredom and emptiness.
She
began to resort to chemical props in order to alleviate the vacuum in
her life. Then one day, while driving casually home from a garden club
meeting, she passed a
Baptist Church where Dr. Angel Martinez was
preaching in a revival. She says, “Something like a magnet drew me
into that building. I would never have gone in on my own.” The music
awakened a nostalgia in her heart, and the sermon, affirming God’s
forgiving love as both complete and permanent, aroused a desire within
her to leave the “far country” and return to the “Father’s House”.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and committed her life to
serve Him, and now since 1970, this trophy of God’s saving love has
been witnessing for Christ by music and personal testimony around the
world. Her story will thrill you and strengthen your faith in the
glorious truth that we are saved by grace through faith as a gift of
God. Her testimony will help young and old alike to return to the
Father's house.

Pebbles Massegee:
A Miracle of God's Grace and Healing Power
On
November 20, 1981, Pebbles was only four months old and was diagnosed
as having Primary Oxalosis. The doctors in
Dallas
said there was no medical hope. She had only days to live. One doctor,
(the name of which they do not wish to reveal) told the Massegees,
“Take your four month old organism home and let it die.”
Oxalate, a normal byproduct of the body, is usually discharged through
the urine. When Primary Oxalosis occurs, the oxalate is retained by
the body. It combines with calcium and forms deposits in the body
organs. Children with this genetic disease rarely live more than a few
years.
While it can attack many of the organs, it was confined
to Pebbles’ kidney. Physicians in Dallas
told the Massegees of a hospital in
Minneapolis, but refused to recommend the baby
be taken there, because, at that time, no transplant had ever been
done on a child as young as Pebbles. And besides the word was, no
transplant could be successful when Primary Oxalosis was involved. It
had never been done. Since there was no help and no hope, the doctors
in Dallas wanted to sedate her
and let her die without pain.
Against the doctor’s orders and
against all odds, the Massegees took Pebbles to Dr. Jay and Lee
Hammer’s Clinic in Atlanta and then to
the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
located in Atlanta.
Dr. Julius Sherwinter, a specialist in kidney disorders, put them in
touch with Dr. Jon Sheinman and Dr. Mike
Mauer, pediatric specialists, at the University of Minnesota Hospital.
The Massegees went there on December 1, 1981. Once they were
certain of the child’s condition, they began looking for a donor. The
Massegee’s three-month-old son, Trey, had died mysteriously a few
years earlier. After exhuming his little body, they determined that he
had died of Primary Oxalosis. At the time he died, no one knew much,
if anything about Oxalosis.
Pebbles mother, Beverly, was
chosen to donate one of her kidneys despite the fact that she had
Lupus, a disease that affects the internal organs. But there was no
choice in the matter. Pebbles had only hours to live and there was no
time to find a donor.
On January 28, 1982, Dr. Najarian and a
team of specialists performed simultaneous operations on Beverly and
the baby. Four and one half hours later, the operation was over.
Doctors had removed both kidneys and the spleen from Pebbles to
expand her abdominal cavity to make room for her mother’s kidney, as
explained by Dr. John Najarian. Dr. Najarian explained that the kidney
would shrink to the normal size of an infant’s kidney in about six
months and then begin to grow as Pebbles grows.
All went well
for two years. While the Massegees were in a revival in North Carolina, Pebbles
contracted a strange virus that caused her to reject her new kidney.
She also suffered a massive stroke, which paralyzed her on the
right side. This time Beverly’s
nephew, Weldon Dean, donated his 30-year-old kidney to the Massegee’s
30-month-old little girl.
Another miracle was experienced. The
second transplant was a big success and lasted 11 years. In 1995, she
began to have problems that ended in a kidney/liver transplant
September 6, 1996. She was in the hospital over two years. It was
during this time God turned all the negatives into positives and she
walked out a living miracle. She continues to be one of God’s walking
miracles. She is in better health today than she has ever been in her
life. Doctors treat. Only God can heal. Thank God for both.
